Breast Cancer Research

The AMS study is to understand how to assess shoulder and arm problems related to treatment for breast cancer. We are looking for a wide variety of people, ranging from those with no shoulder/arm issues to those with more limitations.

Study:

  • ONE online questionnaire (20-30 minutes) 
  • ONE in-person physiotherapy assessment (30-35 minutes) near BC Cancer Vancouver

We are seeking women who:

  1. Within 3 years of surgery for breast cancer
  2. Are over 19 years of age 
  3. Have good English comprehension in order to understand the study forms
  4. No prior history of shoulder/arm injury, surgery, or any other musculoskeletal issue on the side of breast cancer surgery
