Lung Cancer Research

MoVE 2.0

Purpose: To understand how a virtual exercise program may help with physical function and emotional wellbeing in people who are being treated for lung cancer.

MoVE 2.0 is a 12-week supervised virtual exercise program for individuals diagnosed with lung cancer and currently undergoing systemic treatment. A trained exercise professional will deliver 2 group exercise sessions per week over Zoom. The program is designed to improve mobility, strength, and aerobic function.

To take part in the study, participants must have access to an electronic device with audio and visual capabilities, such as a smartphone, tablet, laptop, or desktop computer with a camera and microphone, and a reliable internet connection. The study team will loan tablets and WiFi to those who do not otherwise have access for the duration of the study and will provide training on how to access Zoom and/or WiFi for those who may be unfamiliar.

Classes will be held in Fall 2024.
