Project ECHO

Breast Cancer Supportive Care

Welcome to the Breast Cancer Supportive Care ECHO (Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes) program. Our ECHO is intended to enhance the knowledge and competence of healthcare providers delivering breast cancer supportive care as well as build a community of practice throughout regions of Canada. Through our ECHO platform, we hope to enable shared learning and collaboration to improve patient outcomes in Canada. This initiative is part of our broader commitment to transforming healthcare delivery and bridging gaps in cancer care. If you’re new to ECHO, learn more about the ECHO model here.

Supportive care for this project is defined as the prevention and management of physical and psychological symptoms, limitations in function & usual life roles and side effects, from diagnosis through active treatment and beyond.

Our ECHO cohorts are separated by province and run for approximately 9 months. Registration for our current BC and Yukon Cohort is now closed. However, new ECHO cohorts will open for Alberta, Quebec, and BC/Yukon over the coming year.
