Breast Cancer Supportive Care
Introduction
Welcome to the Breast Cancer Supportive Care ECHO (Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes) program. Our ECHO aims to empower healthcare providers through case-based learning and expert-led didactics. If you’re new to ECHO, learn more about the ECHO model here.
Our Breast Cancer Supportive Care ECHO is intended to enhance the knowledge and competence of healthcare providers delivering breast cancer supportive care as well as build a community of practice throughout regions of Canada. Through our ECHO platform, we hope to enable shared learning and collaboration to improve patient outcomes in Canada. This initiative is part of our broader commitment to transforming healthcare delivery and bridging gaps in cancer care.
Supportive care for this project is defined as the prevention and management of physical and psychological symptoms, limitations in function & usual life roles and side effects, from diagnosis through active treatment and beyond.
